Michael Stow is a Trombonist living in the Cedar Rapids area with his wife and 2 kids. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master's Degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Minnesota. Outside of the Sioux City Symphony, Michael often performs with the Cedar Rapids Community Orchestra and the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra. He also provides private lessons to students in the Cedar Rapids area. Michael enjoys performing in many different styles of music, and has played in a handful of jazz groups throughout the state and beyond, including the Iowa Jazz Composer's Orchestra and the After Hours Big Band.
