Dane Suarez

Praised for his “big, heroic voice” (LA Weekly), tenor DaneSuarez has developed an exciting and varied career. Recent engagements includeCanio in Pagliacci and the title role in Andrea Chénier with OperaDelaware,Radames in Aida with Opera Southwest, and Giovanni in Rappaccini's Daughterwith Opera Columbus. In fall 2024 he made a critically celebrated internationaldebut at Ireland's Wexford Festival Opera, and recent seasons have broughtdebuts with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra and Erie Philharmonic in Verdi'sRequiem. A former Resident Artist with Opera San José, he made his KennedyCenter debut with Washington National Opera in Philip Glass's Appomattox andhis New York City Opera debut in La fanciulla del West. He was a 2014 NationalSemifinalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
